Innocent Chickens Slaughtered for Meat in India

When a customer arrived at the shop, the butcher opened the chicken coop and thrust his hand in. The chickens immediately dashed to the back of the cage, away from the butcher’s groping hand. An unfortunate bird was a little slower than her friends. The butcher grabbed her by the neck and carried her to the back of the shop  while  she cried and shrieked . He then took a sharp meat cleaver and beheaded her. This horrifying incident led me to become vegan immediately. Should India Extradite Sheikh Hasina?

Sheikh Hasina is the former prime minister of Bangladesh who has been found guilty of crimes against humanity in absentia and sentenced to death by her own country. She has been living in exile in India since resigning on 5 August 2024. Should India harbor or extradite her? In my opinion, the only argument for not extraditing her is a humanitarian one. But given that India uses the death penalty, do we really have the moral high ground?
